National Stalking Awareness Week 2026 is scheduled to take place from Monday, 20 April to Sunday, 26 April 2026.
Led annually by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and the National Stalking Consortium, this campaign aims to increase public understanding of stalking behaviours and improve the response of professional agencies to victims.
- Defining Stalking: It is defined as a pattern of fixated, obsessive, unwanted, and repeated behaviour that causes fear of violence or alarm and distress.
- Common Behaviours: This can include following, loitering, unwanted gifts, malicious communications, and digital monitoring.
