Although Dedalus Swiftqueue promoting the NHS login option as the main login, patients still had the ability to login as an existing Swiftqueue user. In accordance with NHS England requirements, the dual login option will now be removed from the main Swiftqueue website from 1st July 2026.
This means that patients will then only be able to login / register for Swiftqueue via
the NHS login option on their website www.swiftqueue.co.uk.
From 4th June 2026
➢ A pop-up message will be added for staff clinic manager users when they login to
their Swiftqueue accounts to make sure they are aware of these upcoming
changes.
➢ Swiftqueue will send an email to all patients who have booked an appointment
from 1st July 2026 onwards, but who have not yet linked their NHS login to their
Swiftqueue account to give them the opportunity to do this. This will be done in a
staggered phase during the month of June.
From 1st July 2026
➢ Swiftqueue login option will be removed.
➢ ALL patients new and existing will login via NHS login on our website.
Patients without an NHS login account.
➢ New patients without an NHS login will carry out a simplified initial registration
where they can register and book their appointment online without having to
upload photo ID.
➢ A reduced registration process makes it easier for first time users to create an NHS
login and book their appointment.
➢ Once booked online, patients can then self-serve to cancel and reschedule
appointments via their Swiftqueue patient portal.
Patients with existing NHS login account:
➢ For patients with existing NHS login, there will be no further changes to their
login / booking process.
➢ They will continue to login via the NHS login button on the Swiftqueue website
and book as usual.
➢ They can continue to self-serve and cancel or reschedule appointments via their
Swiftqueue patient portal.
There is no action for you to take other than to be aware of the change.
