Patient Participation Group
Would you like to have a say about the services provided at the Mickleover Medical Centre?
You can join with other like minded patients at either a regular group meeting (Patients Participation Group) or a virtual email-connected group (Virtual Patient Group).
The Patients Participation Group has been in existence since April 2011. Its purpose is to help the Mickleover Medical Centre provide a continuously improving service to its patients.
It has a membership of around 12 patients and meets around 8 times a year, usually in the evenings.
Its current way of operating is described in its constitution:
To apply for membership of the regular group meeting please contact the Practice reception and complete and interest form.
We want to know how to improve our service to you.
To help us do this in different ways we have set up a Virtual Patient Representation Group which allows you to have your say from the comfort of your own home.
Your voice in the practice – make it heard!
The Mickleover Medical Centre Patient Participation group and the Practice would like to gain as many opinions and suggestions from patients as possible. We appreciate that not everyone can attend meetings, however as a way to obtain your views a link has been set up on the Practice website that will enable you to have a direct link to the group, they can then bring your comments/suggestions to their meetings.
Please take the time to complete our questionnaire in order for the Chairman of the VPPG to be able to contact you.
