PLEASE NOTE THIS LINE from the government website: You’ll be offered appointment dates from 182 days (6 months) after the date of your 2nd dose.
You can also use this service if you’re a frontline health and social care worker. You’ll be able to book an appointment for a booster dose if it’s been at least 182 days (6 months) since your 2nd dose of the vaccine.
All people aged 40 to 49 years old who have not previously been eligible will soon be able to book an appointment for a booster dose using this service.
They will update the booster site with more information when these appointments are available to book. We expect this to be from Monday 22 November 2021.
They are offering patients an opportunity to book the appointment early at 152 days but they will not let you physically have the vaccination until after the 182nd day from your 2nd Dose. Assuming there are appointments available – there is a slight Pfizer supply delay at the moment.
Please avoid calling the Practice to book your covid booster as we are unable to take bookings, the advice to us by NHS England, is to point patients to the 119 calling service, or the government website (above) to book online.
We would like to thank the staff for giving up their Saturdays days to help with the program.
If you need help today, please call, rather than use the website. Phones are very busy, please be patient.
If you can use the website as your need isn't urgent today, please fill the appropriate form in so we can prioritise who needs help soonest.
If you have a face to face appointment booked, please arrive only at the time of your appointment - there is restricted waiting available inside except for those most vulnerable.
Thank you all for your patience,
Your Team at Mickleover Medical Centre
