Upgraded Phone System

Dear Patients,

We have recently upgraded the phone system to enable patients to join the phone queue and then select to have a call back into the system, rather than waiting in the queue.

Our phone system also demonstrates from the new data, that we are faster at answering the phones even in our busy periods. We have also made available many more appointments with all clinicians, and our team are trained to signpost you to the Right Clinician for the Right Condition. Please help them to help you, by explaining what your symptoms are, as they are trained by the clinical staff to ask the right signposting questions. Remember, if the clinician you are seeing thinks you need a GP instead, they will arrange that, so you never have to worry that you are accessing the most approprate help.

The website forms will continue to be open, while relevant to the resource we have. Please try to use these if you are able, leaving the phones for the more vulnerable.
