Triage service

The triage nurses are able to see and deal with most medical complaints (see list of some examples below) and have access to an ‘on-call’ GP should they require it, they can either give you advice on the telephone, arrange to see you via an appointment, arrange for you to see a GP if unable to deal with your problem (if a GP is available) or arrange a home visit if appropriate.

The triage service is an enhanced service we provide, unlike other surgeries, to help our patients get ‘on the day’ advice; please note this is not an emergency service.

If you are in need of urgent on the day clinical advice, please call the reception team on 01332 513283, they will add your details to the call-back list. A clinician will then call you back at some point during the day, so please ensure you are available to take the call. Due to the high volume of calls we may not be able to ring you more than once.
